Actions taken

Our internal work is structured by group:

A1 Mapping the needs and skills of our members
A2 Scientific and technological monitoring
B2 Setting up joint and/or collaborative projects
F1 Security and Risk Analysis
F2 Testing and Trial Methods
G1 Normative Analysis
G2 Regulations

Furthermore, several initiatives aim to support the development of the agricultural robotics sector, including:

In December 2019 in Toulouse, we organized the first FIRA scientific symposium on the theme “Towards reliable and safe robots offering new tools for agriculture.” Fourteen scientists presented the latest advances in the sector on this topic. The symposium brought together nearly 200 industry professionals, researchers, and stakeholders in the robotics sector.

May 2019
We have launched the SOLROB project, which is a diagnostic study of the sector. This project follows a call for tenders from the Ministry of Agriculture, via FRANCE AGRIMER.
December 2018
in Toulouse
We supported the FIRA (International Forum of Agricultural Robotics) organised by the company NAIO, as a sponsor, speaker and exhibitor.
September 2018
We supported the CICV (Champagne Committee) competition open to robot manufacturers to develop robots adapted for vineyards. As in other regions of France, conditions there are sometimes difficult, including slopes exceeding 25%. Operators are highly exposed to pesticides and the risk of accidents. Thanks to RobAgri’s efforts within the community, several companies and consortia submitted applications.
Since 2017
3 seminars were organised, in particular we invited SNCF réseaux on 18/19 September 2018 to explain their expectations in terms of weed control solutions following the programmed discontinuation of glyphosate.
