FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about RobAgri and agricultural robotics.
WHAT IS ROBAGRI?
Founded in 2017, RobAgri is an association that brings together more than 90 stakeholders in the sector (industrial companies, research institutes, start-ups, users). Together, we pool our knowledge to develop agricultural robotics and address the challenges of tomorrow, particularly those related to the ecological transition.
WHO CAN JOIN ROBAGRI?
Membership is open to the entire ecosystem with activity in France: robot manufacturers and designers, equipment suppliers, research and teaching institutes, as well as representatives of end users.
WHAT IS THE BIG CHALLENGE OF AGRICULTURAL ROBOTICS?
This is a France 2030 program, with a budget of €21 million, which aims to accelerate innovation and the deployment of robotics for agroecology. RobAgri has been mandated by the French government to coordinate, manage, and develop the overall strategy.
IS AGRICULTURAL ROBOTICS RESERVED FOR LARGE FARMS?
No. RobAgri is working on different access models (rental, service provision, etc.) to make the technology accessible to everyone. The goal is to improve profitability and reduce the workload, regardless of farm size.
HOW DOES ROBAGRI SUPPORT THE AGROECOLOGICAL TRANSITION?
We promote the development of robots that reduce the use of chemical inputs and preserve soils. Through dedicated working groups and the Grand Challenge, we are adapting technological solutions to the principles of agroecology.

Contribute to the agriculture of tomorrow, now.
